My wish for 2K21
May 2K21 be a pleasant one.
It’s the time of the year again.
New year, new me.
New year resolutions. Lose weight. Get a girlfriend. Earn more money. Travel to many countries. And the list goes on and on.
What do I want for 2021? Nothing much.
All I hope is I develop strength and patience so that I can deal with potentially challenging moments in work and in personal life.
Additionally, continue being open-minded and stop giving so much damn other what other people say and/or think about me very often.
Not just that, to continue becoming single throughout the whole year. When this Chinese New Year come, I expect people to ask me if I have a girlfriend or not. The answer will be a resounding no. Why become single for this year? Well, this is for me to know and for you to find out. However, this promise can be broken under special circumstances.
Then, continue making new friends and make life interesting. Just need to find more ice and crack them. In Toastmasters Kuching, I met different friends and I feel so grateful for them. Getting to spend time together and learn from them, just makes my life feel more abundant. Also, I have been working on my speech. I have done Level 1–3 project and I plan to go beyond to Level 3 project. Wish me luck!
Most importantly, the wish that everyone wants: COVID-19 MUST BE DEFEATED!
Finally, to my friends in my workplace, toastmasters, former university, etc., thank you so much for supporting me through my hard times. Your support is deeply appreciated. I will always pass the good deeds forward. I will always continue to support you all.
